Between longer posts I will pass on small tips to help with your photography. A Zoo has so many exotic animals you do not always know what animal you are photographing. I always have a small notebook and pen in my pocket in case I get interesting information from a Zookeeper or Docent while walking around. The easiest thing to do is take a picture of the exhibit signs. Even if you know what animal you are photographing many times the sign will identify the individuals in the exhibit. Having this information adds interest when you publish your photos.
